There's lots to see and do at the Museum of Cannock Chase. Situated at the edge of the Hednesford Hills nature reserve, this delightful museum illustrates the history of Cannock Chase, from medieval royal hunting forest to 19th century coalfield community.

A wide variety of exhibitions, special events and 'hands on' history activities take place throughout the year. An innovative, award-winning educational programme is available for school groups. Adult tours, led by costumed guides, reveal the many facets of the area's industrial and social history.

Set in thirty acres of green space, adjacent to the Hednesford Hills, one of the last surviving areas of heathland in Britain, with Cannock Chase only three miles away, linked by a series of footpaths, the museum is the ideal base for discovering the natural history of the area.
