Beautifully situated in the lovely Dovey Valley Ty Derw is well known as one of the best B&Bs in the area; graded 5 star by Visit Wales we have always achieved high marks particularly for our standards of housekeeping which we believe are the best you will find anywhere. Our four en suite rooms (one on the ground floor) are individually decorated and furnished to a high standard and, together with our comfortable sitting room and dining room, provide a homely yet luxurious environment for your short break or holiday. We pride ouselves on the quality of our table, whether breakfast, a packed lunch or dinner. You will always find freshly prepared home cooked food using quality local meat, fish and dairy products. Special diets will always be given sympathetic consideration and small parties are a speciality. Dinas Mawddwy lies at the very gateway to Snowdonia being about one hour west of Shrewsbury by car and within easy reach of the many fine attractions of the area. Whether your interest lies in walking, mountain biking, sightseeing, or the many heritage attractions of the area you are unlikely to be disappointed; the wonderful beaches of Cardigan Bay are within a short drive and, wherever you are heading you can be assured of wall to wall scenery!
