Set in the tranquil village of St Fillans - in the heart of rural Perthshire ï¾– Achray House has spectacular views over Loch Earn to the hills beyond. Within the boundaries of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, the hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the Southern Highlands of Scotland. Walkers can choose from a host of low level walks, or over fifty Munroï¾’s within an hourï¾’s drive. There are also 35 golf courses within the same distance. Loch Earn and nearby rivers provide a wide range of watersports, and cyclists can choose from gentle rides to extreme mountain biking in the area. Fishing and field sports are also well catered for on the local lochs and estates. Dinner at Achray House is one of the highlights of the day. Enjoy fine food using the best local seasonal ingredients whilst you look out over the loch, followed perhaps by a glass of malt whisky from our extensive collection. Your hosts, Alan and Jane Gibson and their team offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere, comfortable rooms with all facilities and excellent food and wine.
