The recently refurbished Ship & Castle is a 500 year old traditional country Inn situated 15 miles south of Bristol, 4 miles from the M5 and 3 miles from Bristol International Airport. The pub and surrounding area are saturated in history. First licensed back in 1567 to brew ale The Ship & Castle ever since has been a popular stop for local people and travellers alike. Today we are proud to be a part of this history & future and take pride in being able to offer a relaxing place that delivers outstanding food, great drinks and relaxing accommodation. All our rooms have been designed to a very high specification and have all the latest gadgets including, DVD's, flat screen TV's, free view and iPod docking stations. Our 5 star breakfast is served from 7am, with the opportunity to book a takeaway breakfast for early birds. Our lunch and evening menus are bursting with local produce and change frequently to suit the seasons. We have an extensive wine list and offer traditional ales and ciders in the bar until late every evening.
