Welcome to The da vinci. This beautiful grade 2 listed building is situated just off the sea front in Howard Square and opened as Eastbourne's first art hotel in March 2008. We will be exhibiting work of Eastbourne's local artists in the spacious rooms on the ground floor and the bedrooms will each include a featured artist. We hope you will follow our journey on this project and that it will not be too long before we have the pleasure of seeing you.The da Vinci is conveniently situated for a variety of local attractions including the new arts centre, parks, gardens, museums and the beach with its sweeping seafront and three tier promenade. The pier, dating back to the 1870s, is complemented by Sovereign Harbour which has been turned into one of the most up to date marinas in Europe and well worth a visit. The coastline is designated an area of outstanding beauty and the chalk cliffs of Beachy Head include a walkers route along the cliff tops. Close by are the charming villages of Alfriston, Wilmington & East Dean as well as Drusillas Zoo, Polegate Windmill, Michelham Priory, Pevensey Castle and Newhaven Fort. On the ground floor is the resident's lounge (with full licensed facilities), two breakfast rooms (formal an informal) and a conference room (which you can hire). Our public areas are all wi fi enabled (at no additional charge) so you can even bring your laptop. Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. We do not accept stag or hen groups. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets. Children welcome. Check-In time: 14:00 and Check-Out time: 11:00.
