Gothic House is an elegant Regency townhouse set in a quiet leafy courtyard situated in the heart of the historic part of Norwich. It is a Grade II-listed building and was built in 1820 (reputedly by a wealthy merchant for his mistress!)
The house has been extensively refurbished and redecorated in a highly individual style, yet sympathetic to its Regency origins. Antique furniture and an eclectic array of decorative items creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
We have two spacious, stylishly luxurious guest rooms, each distinguished by its own particular decor.

Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room usually between 8 am and 9.30 am. In keeping with the gentler pace of life found in Gothic House this can be served later if you wish. However, if you have a need for an earlier breakfast this can also be accommodated. The traditional English breakfast is served, using locally sourced products where possible. Other breakfast dishes are also served. Gothic House is a completely non-smoking environment to ensure your comfort.
