The Herb Patch is a family business run by David & Lynda
Potts,situated in a picturesque location on the Northumberland / Durham
border It is part of a smallholding in a which is home to a variety of
friendly farm animals. There is ample free parking and disabled access.
The herb nursery produces a wide range of culinary, medicinal and aromatic
herb plants. All are grown without the use of pesticides, in organic, peat
free compost.
David not only grows the herbs but creates a variety of herb jellies, dips,
oils and vinegars which can be found in the farm shop, along with a
selection of locally produced fine foods including organic fruit and veg,
preserves, cakes, honey, drinks etc. You will also find a range of crafts
by local people. In addition, a box sheme operates in the local area,
delivering fruit and veg to your doorstep.
