Good Points: The room was excellent, very nice and clean with lovely decor. the pool was devine, especially the hot tub. Bad Points: The internet wireless signal was too weak to reach our room. We tried to use the cable provided instead but that wasnt a live port. I work in IT and our laptop is in perfect working order. I knew that it was the hotel connection in our bedroom which was at fault. Unfortunately the receptionist had no idea what I was talking about and we drew a blank with getting it fixed. We had an evening meal at the restaurant but I had to send my steak back, it was well done when I had asked for rare. The meal itself was served on a wooden platter which I didnt like at all. Wooden platters hold germs and bacteria and I would much prefer a plate for service of my meal. Once the steak was replaced the meal was very nice though, and the service in the restaurant was faultless. General review: We had a very enjoyable break at this hotel and would definitely stay there again. The hotel is very beautiful and right on the bank of the river.

Have visited this hotel on an infrequent basis several times this year but on Friday the service was spoilt by the waiter chewing gum and not paying much attention to our party. We do not intend to return.

Good Points: i enjoyed the whole experience - most of the staff were helpful and friendly. The spa and pool were wonderful Bad Points: NO air conditioning on the hottest nights of the year - it was stifling and impossible to sleep. There were also two rooms of bed hoppers during my second night - very loud and it went on until 1 in the morning General Review: it is a lovely hotel with a more than adequate dining room. The breakfasts were exceptionally good in the choice and variety of foods on offer. The evening meal was a bit of a disappointment but all the waiting staff were good
