We also experienced problems with an insufferably hot room. We took the chance of leaving the window open at night, and had the fan on, but it was still insufficient to our needs. (We would have to close the windows when we left in the morning, and the room was an oven when we returned in the evening.) There was only one unused outlet in the 'living' space of the room. We plugged the fan into that outlet. We were, therefore, unable to plug in our laptops, hair dryer, phone charger, etc. (There was one outlet in the kitchen, but that's inconvenient.) We requested an extension cord but during our three day stay it was not delivered. The room was clean; provided a toaster, kettle, and refrigerator and was generally okay, but certainly not worth the amount of money that we paid. We have stayed at Dolphin House before, but would consider another hotel the next time we visit London because of the problems during our most recent visit.

Good Points: Excellent location. Quiet. Bad Points: Our room was unbearably hot with no airconditioning and because we were on the ground floor, we were unable to leave the windows open while we slept. The small fan was not sufficient to keep us cool. The room wasn't always cleaned properly. General review: Despite the above we would be prepared to stay at the Dolphin again. We'd look more carefully at the rooms you provide.
