Won his first national title aged 12 as a novice, made his international debut in 1971. Won both the European Championship gold and the Olympic title in 1980. Turned professional and formed his own ice company in 1983. Has starred in, produced, directed, and choreographed many international TV ice spectaculars and has been a regular guest presenter and commentator for BBC TV.
