First international terrorist attack on Britain?

Greenwich, London The 15th of February 1894 AD

Shortly before 5am on February 15, 1894, a bomb was detonated at Greenwich Observatory in London. The perpetrator was one Martial Boudin, a French anarchist aged 26.
Why his target was the Greenwich Observatory is unclear. It is debatable if it was actually his intended target, the whole event having a slightly surreal air, to which his name - it means warlike pudding - adds a very weird note indeed.
